Author Biography
Helen Keller, who experienced profound disabilities due to a childhood illness, overcame her communication barriers through the intervention of Dr. Alexander Graham Bell and the dedicated efforts of her teacher, Anne Sullivan. Sullivan introduced Keller to manual sign language, enabling her to grasp the concept of symbolic representation. Her humanitarian contributions were recognized through numerous accolades, including the Legion of Honor and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
